What we do
Emergency relief and recovery
We dramatically expanded our international in the 1990s as we gradually built up our capacity over the years. Now, we are able to contribute our valuable resources to the Movement in times of international disasters and emergencies. During such times, we make sure that our public is up-to-date with the latest international disaster that requires their immediate attention. We also let them know what the Movement is doing in response to this disaster. When necessary, we join the Movement¡¯s collective response and contribute our fair share in helping those affected, through means such as launching a nationwide fundraising campaign and sending our own medical personnel or supplies.
