On September 27, 2017, KRCBS held blood donation campaign targeting foreign donors. In Korea, many foreign donors contact KRCBS and participate in blood donation. However, sometimes, foreign donors do not speak Korean or find a translator, which they are not able to donate blood according to our strict criteria. To provide the opportunity for foreigners to participate in blood donation, we promoted blood donation in a way that provided translators at Hongik University blood donation center and celebrated Korean Thanksgiving by giving out Korean rice cake and having them try on Korean traditional clothes. Foreign donors had an opportunity to giving blood and enjoy Korean Thanksgiving event with KRCBS. KRCBS will continue to promote blood donation for everyone who are willing to save people's lives. |
